Basil for clear, healthy skin

When you think of basil (tulsi), all that comes to your mind is a piping hot Thai curry! But did you know it is also an excellent skin rejuvenation?

Detoxifies your skin

Boil some water with dried basil leaves and refrigerate it. You can then massage this gentle tea on your skin and rinse it off. This will refresh your skin and make it glow.

Improves your skin tone

Use fresh basil leaves as a thick paste and apply it on your face and neck. Keep it approximately for 20 minutes before you wash it off with cool water.

Prevents blackheads

Basil is also known to prevent the appearance of blackheads. Gently wet the top side of the basil leaf and place one on each side of your nose. After five minutes take it off and wash your face.
